UPDATE!

Hi Moms! Since we have not had many Mom's checking out our blog, we will not longer be updating it. However, we love keeping you informed on upcoming Community Events and that is why we will be including the events in our Mothers of Montgomery Newsletter (members receive this via email) as well as posting on Facebook.

Feel free to write on our Facebook wall if you would like us to let other member's know of an event.

January 2011

Hey Moms!

I hope the New Year started off great for everyone! 2011 sure came fast! I unfortunately did not start it off right at all! I have been sick with one thing then another. Now I just have a cough that just keeps lingering! I'm feeling much better and looking forward to a good year!

So since I've been slacking ... I wanted to thank Jessica Robinson ( Our Mothers of Montgomery Historian) for sending out an email to you all about the local community events!! Thank you!!! (I added them all to our calendar to make it easier to plan things with the kiddos).

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here are a few things going on in January I just wanted to mention:

Friday January 21-

Parachute Play @ The Woodlands Children's Museum! I remember having so much fun doing that as a child!!

Saturday January 22-

Monster Jam @ Reliant Stadium

Be sure to order your tickets at http://www.ticketmaster.com/ before the event! My husband and I have been to this every year and we have a great time. I wouldn't recommend bring small babies since the Monster Trucks are super loud!! But the toddlers would sure enjoy it! They sell ear plugs there.

Sunday January 23-

Dog Adoptions @ The Portifino Shopping Center. One of the best dogs I have ever had as a child was one I adopted from the Conroe Animal Shelter. Go check it out!

Thursday January 27-

Ladies Night Out with Mothers of Montgomery! Come and enjoy a night with girls!

Don't forget to check out the Blog Calendar for full details on Local Community Events and More!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

To all of our newest members I would like to say WELCOME! We are so glad to have you in our group!

I also would like to tell our Mothers of Montgomery Social Director/Co-Organizer, Beth Panter, CONGRATULATIONS ON BABY #2!! We are so happy for you and Robert... and of course soon-to-be Big Brother Jordan!

The Panter Family!

I hope everyone has a wonderful week! Will update again soon!

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year Moms!

2010 is officially over and so are the hectic (but very fun) holidays! Now that it's over I promise I will get back to updating our blog and calendar of community events! I have already added a few things on the community calendar (that can be found on our blog) for this week so be sure to check them out. One of my favorite events coming up this weekend is Monster Jam! It is very fun but very loud so it's probably not recommended for very small children. Details can be found on the calendar:)
For those of you checking out the blog for the very 1st time... I do put Mothers of Montgomery events on the calendar as well as community events but always refer to the Meetup calendar just in case last minute changes are made and I am unable to update the blog calendar in time. The Meetup calendar is always going to be the most reliable for Mothers of Montgomery events.

If you know of a great community event coming up and it is not on the calendar please let me know by writing me on the Mothers of Montgomery Facebook page or on the Meetup website so I can share the information with everyone in the group.

Also Moms, we are needing hosts for playdates this year so if you are interested in hosting a playdate in your home please contact Beth Panter.

I hope all of you had a very Merry Christmas and a very happy New Year! If you just joined our group I want you to know we are very happy to have you and hope to meet you and your child(ren) soon!

Busy Busy Busy!

Hey Ladies,

As you all must know... October is a very busy month..I guess because it's the beginning of the holidays! Just wanted to let you know that I updated our community event calendar on this here blog page (please click the calendar tab above) and there will be more events added soon..there are just so many! If I did not mention an event, but you would like everyone to know about one, please let me know!

We are so excited about our Mothers of Montgomery group growing but please note that there have been some slight changes to our play dates since they are so large. We are now seperating the play dates to two separate locations BUT they will still be on the same day! The groups will be toddlers and 0-crawling/or walking. Of course if you have 2 children in two different age groups, you will have to choose which one works best for you.

Another thing I would like to remind everyone, I try my best to make sure our Blog Calendar matches our Mothers of Montgomery Meetup Calendar so it is easier for you to make plans for your family's events, but please remember, the Meetup Calendar will always be the most reliable for our Groups Events :)

We are also looking for people to host at home playdates, if you are interested please go on Meetup and contact our Social Director, Beth Panter.

I also want to take this time to welcome all the new members who have joined our group recently. WELCOME:) We are so glad you are part of our group and we hope to meet you soon!

Hope everyone has a wonderful week! Don't forget to RSVP and get the details on the Meetup website for our next event which is Saturday at 7 Acre Woods!
